This Social Work Month, we honor njHealth's hospice social workers for their unwavering dedication and the meaningful difference they make every single day.

Kimberly DeChurch has been a social worker for 34 years, including the past 27 years in medical social work within home care and hospice. She earned her social work degree from Rutgers.
Her experience ranges from children’s services to women’s trauma, but she has found her calling in supporting older adults. A resident of Marlton, she balances her professional commitments with time spent caring for her horse, whom she considers both a companion and source of personal grounding. “He is my therapist and best friend,” she said.
Kimberly has been part of njHealth Hospice and Palliative Care since its opening in 2020.
njHealth is a premiere provider of hospice and palliative care in New Jersey. We serve the residents of Atlantic, Camden, Cape May, Cumberland, Gloucester and Salem counties. Our amazing team of social workers, nurses, certified home health aides, spiritual care and bereavement counselors, and volunteers make each day count for our patients and their families.
