Coffee, Confections & Conversation: Why Talking About Tomorrow Matters Today

That's why NJHealth Hospice and Palliative Care and Godfrey Funeral Home are bringing the community together for Coffee, Confections & Conversation on Tuesday, November 3, at Dino's Diner in Seaville. The free event is designed to make an often-difficult topic feel a little more approachable.

Over coffee, tea, and sweet treats, community members will have the opportunity to hear from Ottilie Parsons, RN, of NJHealth Hospice and Palliative Care and Sallie Godfrey of Godfrey Funeral Home. Together, they will discuss the decisions many families eventually face, and the steps people can take now to ensure their wishes are known and respected.

Planning ahead is one of the greatest gifts we can give the people we love. Whether it's documenting healthcare preferences, exploring advance directives, considering funeral arrangements, or simply starting a conversation with family members, thoughtful planning can reduce stress and uncertainty during difficult times.
