Stop by the NJHealth Hospice and Palliative Care table at SCOSA Annual Successful Aging Festival May 8th

We love to meet with the community. The NJHealth team members will be on hand to answer your questions at the Stockton Center on Successful Aging (SCOSA) Annual Successful Aging Festival, Friday, May 8, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Stockton University Campus Center, located at 101 Vera King Farris Drive, Galloway, NJ.
By 2030, 1 in 5 adults will be over the age of 65.
The fastest growing segment of the population is those over the age of 85. This free, community-focused event brings together older adults, caregivers, professionals, and community organizations to explore meaningful ways to support health, independence, and quality of life as we age.
NJHealth Hospice and Palliative Care invites attendees to stop by their table to learn more about hospice and palliative care services, community education programs, and opportunities to make a lasting impact through hospice volunteerism.
“We are excited to connect with the community at this year’s Successful Aging Festival,” said Suzanne Martinelli, CEO and administrator of NJHealth Hospice and Palliative Care. “Events like this allow us to share how compassionate care, education, and volunteer support can truly make a difference for individuals and families navigating serious illness.”
The SCOSA Successful Aging Festival will feature a full day of engaging and informative presentations designed to empower attendees with practical tools and inspiration. Event highlights include:
Chair Yoga
Blue Zones in the USA
Volunteering: The Ultimate Mood Booster
Managing Money: A Caregiver’s Guide
Protecting Yourself in an AI-Powered World
Safeguarding Tomorrow, Today: Helping Families Get Organized
CareWise AI: Empowering Dementia Caregivers
Attendees will have the opportunity to explore resources, connect with experts, and engage in conversations about wellness, caregiving, financial planning, technology, and community involvement. NJHealth Hospice and Palliative Care team members will be available throughout the day to answer questions and share information about how hospice and palliative care support comfort, dignity, and quality of life at every stage, and how you can become a part of our hospice volunteer program and made a difference every day for a hospice patient.
The SCOSA Annual Successful Aging Festival is open to the public and free to attend. For those interested in learning, connecting, and celebrating successful aging together, this event offers something for everyone.
NJHealth Hospice and Palliative Care looks forward to welcoming the community and being part of this inspiring day at Stockton University. This free, informative festival is a
wonderful opportunity to connect, learn, and celebrate successful aging together. We would love to see you there!
