BINGO at Big Oak Rehab and Care Center

Our friend Ronald enjoys a game of BINGO!

Members of the NJHealth Team often pack their bags for visits—not with tablets or laptops, but with something far more important: smiles, warm hugs, and a stack of old‑school Bingo card!

But the best part wasn’t the game—it was the moments between. Between calls of B‑12 and G‑53, they shared stories, laughs and the joy we shared with our friends at Big Oak Rehab in Elmer.  The proud grin when placing that final chip for BINGO.  The playful groans when someone was one number away. The small victory dances. The sparkle in everyone’s eyes as the room lit up with joy.

Sometimes, it really was all fun and games. A break from technology, a return to simple pleasures—just cards, chips, laughter, and connection.

And as always, the NJHealth Hospice and Palliative Care team brought that gentle personal touch, the kind that enriches lives and makes each day count.
